Social Media

Increase Your Company’s Visibility Through the Use of Social Media.
Visibility increases sales. Increasing sales means more profits. It’s an easy formula to understand.

Numbers Tell the Story

Twitter Users: 119 million and growing
Facebook Users: 600 million and growing
Linkedin Users: 100 million and growing

Can your business afford to miss out on connections like that?  If you don’t currently have a Social Media Marketing Strategy, your business could be missing out on untold numbers of clients and sales.

We all hear about people who send out 140-character messages called “Tweets”, telling what they just had for breakfast, or what movie they’re going to see. Granted, there are lots of people who use Twitter only for the purpose of communicating information to the world that no one really needed to know, and they certainly didn’t care about. But used properly, Twitter can be a fantastic tool for building your business.

I’ll give you an example. Michael Stelzner, an expert on writing white papers, had been encouraged to start using Twitter. He thought it was the silliest thing he had ever heard, but he decided it couldn’t hurt to give it a try. So he set up an account and sent out a few tweets a day. At first, he picked up a few followers, then slowly his list began to grow.

One day he sent out a Tweet which was picked up by someone who knew someone who knew Tony Robbins. Yes, THE Tony Robbins. And Mike Stelzner picked up Tony Robbins as a client all because he sent out some 140-character messages telling about his business.

Every day we hear about crazy or controversial things that people are saying on Twitter, but the fact is your business could be reaping benefits from the use of this free, simple online method of telling people about your products and services.

Does your business have a Facebook page? If not, your business is losing important connections here, too. This is another marketing and advertising resource that costs nothing to use, yet the potential for creating profitable relationships is tremendous, and should not be overlooked, much less dismissed.

Linkedin is more formal in its approach to connections, and not as well-known as either Twitter or Facebook, but don’t underestimate its potential. More and more people are opening accounts and adding clients, business associates and new friends to their list every day.

What about Google+? It’s Google’s attempt to overtake Facebook. Will Google succeed? Who knows? But there will always be competition, and right now you need an invitation from someone who is already using Google+ to even get an account. So stay tuned for more information on Google+. We’ll watch to see where it’s going.
