Hi, my name is Teresa Beeman. I am a communications consultant with 23 years of experience, specializing in research and writing for the legal profession.
Most recently, I have diversified my services to include writing for a variety of other professions, as well as assisting small business owners with their business communications needs, and teaching them how to get more from their marketing efforts.
My emphasis is on creating effective advertising and marketing materials that convey the client’s message in a clear and concise manner. I believe that improving and facilitating faster, smoother business transactions through effective communications results in tangible rewards for the business owner, as well as the customer or client.
My services include general copywriting – or what I call content writing, crafting web copy, corporate blogging, and white papers, as well as as social media marketing. I am a Certified Social Media Marketing Specialist, and I offer my services to help businesses add social media to their marketing efforts.
After seeing a need for helping companies to focus on better communications skills, I began offering workshops and seminars on the subject. I offer both in-house training and personal coaching on how to improve communications in the areas of writing, speaking and presenting.
Staying on top of the current trends is extremely important if a business wants to stay competitive in its field. Business communications is no exception. Social media has caught on like wildfire, and even though it was initially seen as a way for people to stay in touch with one another, it soon became evident that companies could take advantage of the phenomenon, too.
Technology is advancing quickly, and if a person or business wants to stay current, it is crucial to keep education and training up-to-date. I keep my own skills sharp by continuing my education in the field of communications, and I can help you and your company do the same.
